Item arrived in the exact condition as described and as pictured. My washer is no longer leaking and is quieter with the new pump, much more so than with the old OEM pump when the washer was brand new! Always a low grinding noise for 17 years until it broke and I bought this replacement, now the sound is gone. Had a friend with an identical machine to mine and his also had the low grinding noise! Clearly the OEM Maytag pumps are inferior, and 3-5x the price! I would buy Supco brand parts again.
