Useful book in design and technology department at a secondary school
This is a fun book and useful to pupils of design and technology teachers of year 8 doing the Wallace and Grommit unit Cracking Contraptions it gives lots of diagrammes and also the theory of gears, ways of movement etc. Although the contraptions are too complicated to make for the kids they can take certain elements or ideas from them - a catalyst for their own imagination.
