What an album
Never heard of Vampire Weekend before this and I don't know why. These guys are amazing. The tracks are all belters. Indie guitar infused with electronic elements. Right up my street. Some of the stand out tracks are Cousins, Run, Diplomats Son, hell all of them are worthy for single release. The album is on the XL recordings label which I normally associate with the Prodigy and other electrnoic acts. After listening to the album though, I can see why they are on that label now. More electronica than I was expecting but I'm sure that this will appeal to Indie fans as much as Electonica fans. Contra, Vampire Weekend
Disappointed really, doesn't really get going till track 7and from then most of the tracks have been released. Sounds too much like Paul Simon for my liking. If you loved the first album then check to other album tracks before purchasing.
