    Xmas present for my 18 year old daughter

    She absolutely loved ‘The Song of Achilles,’ by the same author so I thought I would buy Circe. She was delighted. I believe these books are very popular.

    Book of the year

    This is my book of the year if not of the decade. It is fabulous, beautifully written and imaginative and gripping. I am on my 2nd read and I still find it hard to put down. When I finished it the first time I felt bereft and really emotional and desperately wanting more. It is such a book.

    I loved this book. I have had experience of greek mythology so most of the names were familiar to me. Circe has had bad press but this novel paints her in a different light. Couldnt put it down
