It was such a good price, however I do now wish that we had spent twice the money and invested in a stapler that would stand the test of time. This one is going to have to be relegated to the 'stand by' items that will work but not 100% of the time. The staples come out at all angles into the wood, a different piece of wood and you have to set the 'pressure' knob to make sure it will fire the staples at all. We require for all our wood projects a stapler that is consistent. So it just goes to show that that old saying is correct 'you get what you pay for'. This is fine for 'soft wood' and smaller projects, you cannot fault how it is made for the price.

good product but I was disappointed as I find difficulty in using it as tension is to strong and the trigger far to hard to use comfortably. . I bought a heavy duty My advice is go for a lighter one if you can

this stapler is sturdy and good quality, spare staples/tacs are Easily found on the web or right here on Ebay, literaly first search and they came up. i bought this to staple a seat cover to a motocross bike and a road bike, both seat bases were very firm plastic, malleable but still firm, the stapler does work into this material but on its toughest setting, some staple would crimp up and not go in so you need to make sure that you apply Firm pressure, i found a good way of doing this was to turn the stapler around so i could apply downward pressure with the palm of my hand (top tip !) whilst using my fingers to operate the trigger. for those wanting to use this for upholstery i can categorically assure you that it is more than man enough for the job, ive tried this into my workbench which is made of your typical cls timber face with oak around the sides and this worked well, firing the staples completely gone into both surfaces, things like mdf, soft wood, craft wood will be a breeze, for those with more daintier hands it may become tiresome to use as on the top setting the trigger is fairly stiff but in the same breath if that were to be an issue you would have to spend 3x more to get a good quality electric/air stapler (i’m well aware there are cheap ones but believe me i’ve tried them and found them appalling). the stapler didn’t come with and instructions but i found a very good video on youtube with the search am-tech heavy duty stapler. i hope this review helps, it would have certainly alleviated any of my apprehensions before buying one, thoroughly recommended product . I am very impressed after using this stapler as it is easy to use and very good for my projects . It will take some time to see how reliable it is over time, but so far it is better than my previous one and I am happy! I would recommend that when you purchase this, at the same time purchase a good supply of staples as sometimes between suppliers the staples are not quite the right fit into the groove. I enjoyed the case it came with as I took out the plastic silhouette and fitted my spare staples into it, so easy to use and I will not have to remember where I stored the spare staples. All in all, a good purchase for my needs, if you need something heavy duty, then its best to specify the jobs you do and research a bit rather than be unhappy.

The staple gun is excellent and while the staples that come with it are great, it's impossible to buy the same ones (even ones the producer's website says to buy) so you can only use it for however long the staples last.
