Ordered coffee from this company for mor than 10 years with no issues. We have tried numerous beans green and roasted. This is one of my favorite. I roast them medium roast which works in my super automatic.

it is the best central american bean, so fresh and flavorful.

My favorite so far.
I've tried 6 different coffees from Macaw roasters. They have all been extremely fresh sealed in single 1lb. Bags shoo the 5th one stays fresh. They all were fantastic, yergachefe, Columbian, Brazilian, Costa Rican, jamaican pea berry and Panamanian. All were great, medium to medium dark roast coffees (not oily). I drink my coffee black and grind just before brewing. I've been looking for a rich, flavorful coffee (that's not earthy or burnt) with minimal bitterness and that great dark chocolate after tone. Blue Macaw best grind!
Rises above volcanic! I was introduced to Volcanic brandcoffee from the same area a few years ago. Blue Macaw has captured the essence of Volcanic and gone beyond the terrific crunch of volcanic rock under foot! It's like pure nitogened lava flow! Great job of recreation of the complete bargain that's pyroclastic! Thanks!
