Interesting story - but pictures are missing.
Quite an interesting read, but there were very many references to pictures (photos) which were missing from this particular version. Such a shame. Also, there were a large number of phrases used from the French vernacular. Unless you are familiar with French vernacular of that time, i.e. 1940s - it is extremely difficult to translate them into English, as there was no cross-referencing to English, which would have been very useful to those who do not speak French fluently.Quite an interesting read, but there were very many references to pictures (photos) which were missing from this particular version.
