Not Blackadder at their best, but still pretty good
This one-off creation by the Blackadder team was made for the millennium celebrations. It includes stars from the earlier Blackadder series, including Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie and Miranda Richardson. The plot is basic with Blackadder and Baldrick building a fake time machine so they can win a bet, only to find that it actually works. Cue changes to history and the usual Blackadder mayhem. Some of it is really funny - there are some good jokes scattered throughout the piece but there is still a feeling of a wasted opportunity. The disc also includes a sketch for Comic Relief set during the Civil War period and Baldrick's Video Diary both of which well worth watching.This one-off creation by the Blackadder team was made for the millennium celebrations. Back to Black.... Adder
A brilliant one off Black Adder story spanning over 65 million years where questions are answered (Death of the dinosaurs) and where Black Adder does what every school child would want to do to Shakespeare! :D The story is fantastic and pretty solid as you would expect from a Black Adder show with joke after joke coming at you, needs to be watched a few times to get the smaller jokes and the homages to the various seasons ;) All in all a great family DVD for anyone who loves a bit of the Adder and his weasely cunning.A brilliant one off Black Adder story spanning over 65 million years where questions are answered (Death of the dinosaurs) and where Black Adder does what every school child would want to do to Shakespeare! :D The story is fantastic and pretty solid as you would expect from a Black Adder show with joke after joke coming at you, needs to be watched a few times to get the smaller jokes and the homages to the various seasons ;) All in all a great family DVD for anyone who loves a bit of the Adder and his weasely cunning.
