RUSE for Sony PlayStation 3 is a World War II real-time strategy game developed by Ubisoft. In RUSE PS3, the player has the option of leading the advance of their soldiers from different vantage points and in this Ubisoft game, different vantage points are necessary for victory. RUSE PlayStation 3 allows the use of PlayStation Move or a standard control pad, further adding to the versatility of this Ubisoft game. Beating the enemy in RUSE PS3 depends on a variety of tactics, including predicting the enemy's next move, effectively placing ambushes, and using spies and transmission decryption techniques. The player takes on the persona of Joe Sheridan and his movement from being a Major in Tunisia to being a General in the later stages of the War. RUSE PlayStation 3 moves at a slow and deliberate pace, forcing the player to plan ahead or slowly suffer the consequences of any tactical blunder. RUSE PlayStation 3 requires rigorous attention to detail, such as when the player must order bombers into radio silence or risk losing them to fighter planes.

    Good deal

    Good Game. Strategy fro playstation three. Similar to Red Alert. However, the scenario is not so rich as other similar games.

    Delivers what one hopes for

    This is one of my favourite types of games and there is very little like it available on the PS3. I played the downloadable demo and the game delivers what that promised. There are 23 missions in all different maps. The game makes new units available to you as the game progresses, and mixes up what you can use in various missions. In addition to the main story mode there are challenge missions and user configurable battle scenarios against the AI. There's also online combat and cooperation but I haven't been able to try that with the current server situation. Although the game does not require the sometimes frantic speed of Command & Conquer there are periods where time is of the essence. Load and save times are quick and the game never glitched for me. All in all, very satisfying.

    Strategic warfare at it's best!! Definate recommendation.

    Excellent strategy warfare game, to be placed in comparison with command & conquer meets RISK because the gameplay is somewhat different. However the strategy behind manoeuvres is of great detail. I would recommend this to people who strive for new strategic challenges and for the extremists I would advise playing on hardest difficulty first time around. The in depth detail means you can control all different types of units, air, land and sea. As well as build further structures to advance. I myself am only on around the 6th mission but even at this point it draws you in. For any further information I would be glad to provide it, just message me. Regards.
