Magnetic coupling made easy
Good replacement for the standard slim 'hook and bar' OO coupling. Clips directly into the NEM 362 pocket on Bachmann, Hornby and Heljan models. Once installed, the magnetic coupler provides more positive coupling than the standard 'hook' type, makes it easy to lift a single vehicle from the train if necessary and, with the Kadee uncoupling ramps, provides easy 'delayed action' uncoupling of the train from the loco. Good replacement for the standard slim 'hook and bar' OO coupling. Clips directly into the NEM 362 pocket on Bachmann, Hornby and Heljan models. Size does matter.
I had tried #19 couplers before but I had a problem when propelling my older stock along the track, because of buffer lock on corners. I figured that maybe a slightly larger size would give me a little more clearance, and indeed it did. I will be buying plenty more of this size.
