A game changer for your System !
Like many others I put off adding this to my Sonos system (Playbase & 2 one`s) due to price, but with help from an eBay discount I was able to purchase this Sub Absolutely makes a very impressive difference.. On one hand, well worth the wait. on the other. wish I had pulled the trigger sooner! A definite must buy to enhance the Sonos experience Now i just have to save for the Arc ... lol

Way To Booming For Music
Bought to go with sonos bar and stereo speakers. I mainly listen to music and found it way to booming with no definition even after tweaking. It seems more for those low rumbling scenes in films. It was in a fairly small room so after returning bought a 5 speaker which is just right and compliments the system with good bass definition

Got an Arc : Buy the Sub now!
I have an Arc plus twin One SL surround setup and thought it was great. Sometimes I thought the system was a bit light on the low frequency stuff, then a friend who's a sound engineer visited and commented on the lack of bass: so I bought the sub. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! TOOK The whole system to a new level. Very pleased with the product quality, looks like new, warranty and saved a chunk of cash. A must if you want full music experience
The Sun Gen3 makes a significant difference to more critical listening (music). I wonder if this was expensive to extend base frequencies. In practice it makes a difference over the whole sound experience. Others have said that by removing the burden of the full range of frequencies delivered by the arc the whole sound improves. It improves detail, sharpens upper frequencies and improved the presence / image with a more forward immersion rather than remoteness. So despite the expense, the Arc and Sub work so well together I have no regrets. The Sun Gen3 makes a significant difference to more critical listening (music). Excellent addition to surround sound!
Fantastic addition to my existing Sonos Beam and pair of Sonos SL speakers for rear left and right. Earth shattering deep bass if turned up to max but you’d need to get on well with your neighbours to have it that high! Great sound and frees up the other speakers to provide even better sound for the higher ranges. Not cheap but certainly worth buying to complete the Sonos Surround sound, absolutely no regrets!Fantastic addition to my existing Sonos Beam and pair of Sonos SL speakers for rear left and right.
