Its a de-scaling filter
Its a filter for a steam generator iron. You pop it in and it de-scales your water. This is a genuine maker replacement part so expected it to fit etc and it does.

Tefal anti calc cartridge
The anti calc cartridge is great, especially if you live in a hard water area, it stops the calcium from coming through the iron jets and leaving white/ brown stains on your clothes.
