    I have not put a coin in one yet but you can tell this is a well made product (A+) Each piece is protected in a plastic bag which prevents scratches on the holder. With shipping and tax it comes to about $1.00 apiece which is a good price for permanent coin holders. I recommend this product and seller for your silver eagles A+

      Plastic Snaplock Coin Holders for American Eagle 1 Troy Oz Coins 40MM

      These holders come with a gasket which fits around the coin keeping it from moving and making an air tight seal as well. You coins will stay as brilliant as the day they came from the mint. I have these, I use these and I highly recommend them to you. What a great gift for Christmas an American Eagle in the case.

      Nice but....

      like these better than rounds. they don't slip out of hands due to having corners/edges. Must push coin in as the fit is very snug and some coins when pushing in, damaged the black felt and scratched the holder itself, which iIMHO, scratches easily which I do NOT find happens with round holders. These also fit more precisely when storing. Overall a good value and product. Seller is highly recommended.

      Guardhouse tetra, 2 x 2 snaplock holder

      Direct fit capsules are the only way to go. The tetra 2 x 2 snaplock by guardhouse is my new favorite holder for Eagles, Maples and silver 1oz rounds. Thank you for providing this product at a very reasonable price.

      These are my second favorite holders. Best price for quality. Inserts are easy to use but a bit flimsy which is slightly awkward but easy on the coins.
