    7200RPM is faster than 5400RPM pretty simple

    An excellent upgrade for my laptop, Much faster now! This was another option for increased function speed of my PC. There's nothing not to like about that, With the higher rpm of 7200 vs. the oem hard drive @5400RPM, The improvement was very signifigant.

    YEP, IT'S A HARD DRIVE

    What can I say? I needed a hard drive and this is a hard drive. This one has a slightly faster RPM of 7200 which is why I choose it. No issues formatting or installing windows.
