About this product

Product Information

Pump It Up features choreographed steps for each song and a five button mat that lets the step designers reward players for not just where they put their feet, but how the feet got there. The game features over 80 songs, including new music for the console version from cutting edge artists such as Grammy nominees Crystal Method and Steriogram, as well as Elvis vs. Junkie XL;, Earth, Wind and Fire; and Sugarhill Gang. Music familiar to fans of the arcade include top K-POP (Korean pop) acts like Sechs Kies, Honey Family, Clon and Novasonic, and songs like Beethoven Virus and Pump Me Amadeus by BanYa, the Pump It Up original band. The console version of Pump It Up: Exceed is based on the arcade game Pump It Up: Exceed but, in addition to the new music features a wealth of new features including three entirely new modes: Home, Sudden Death, and Survival as well as a practice and tutorial mode.

Item as described. Good packaging. Fast shipping. The cartridge was dirty and had to be thoroughly cleaned before it would function.

  • Good dance game that is challenging

Likes: This is a lot of fun and my entire family gets a kick out of it. We all try to best each other in the various levels/songs. It gets your heart pumping and that is a very good thing. Cons: It is hard! It took a while to get the hang of it. Maybe I'm just foot challenged or something, but it was a little frustrating at first. My young kids (under 7 years old) need a song or two that is easier than beginner level. The animation/graphics that come with some of the songs are pretty lame, way too anime, or just a tad risque. Overall, however, I like it. I have no experience in the other dance games, but I do like having this game around.

  • Pump It Up: Exceed (Game & Dance Mat) (Xbox)

I actually do not have the Xbox. I had a plan that I was going to use this on my computer. First of all, I ordered this product and xbox controller to usb adapter. The dance mat(pad)'s quality was great and i think it won't be broken for a long time. For people who want to use the xbox pump it up pad on pc, I will give you the tips. 1. Prepare a xbox controller to usb adapter and Pump It Up Dance Mat for Xbox. 2. Install the xbox controller driver on pc. 3. Get the program that makes your controller can type on pc like keyboard. 4. Get the Pump It Up PC Version. 5. On the program, config your keys as follows, 1p 2p q e 7 9 s 5 z c 1 3 6. You're done, let's enjoy!

  • Amazing game, awesome mat :D!

This game is just amazing. I've played DDR and other rhythm games. Heck, I even make my own in Flash. Unlike DDR and other dancing pad games, you actually have to "Feel the beat" to play this. I've tried "not" feeling the beat and it just doesn't work for some reason. The graphics are nicely done. The song choices are good (though I wish there were more english songs). But what really got me was the pad. Unlike the traditional dancing 4-button pads, Pump It Up has 5 buttons, with the arrows pointing diagonally. Perhaps the only aspects of the game I didn't like was that the learning curve is insane and that the songs aren't rated in difficulty well enough. It took me quite a while to get used to playing, especially since they only had a couple easy songs (though even those were difficult ...

  • Xbox pump it up Game & Dance Mat

It is truly an awsome game, fun and very exersizing, I would recomend this for anyone. It is a fun filled "Family" game that anyone & everyone can enjoy. It has 3 lessons that teach you how to play, and boy did we have a blast !!! It is harder than anyone would think, but a riot to try, we had alot of fun with it, but like I said it is GREAT exercise....I would highly recomend this for anyone young and old, age is no factor.

  • Video Game

I have been wanting to buy this for the last 6 years and finally had the money to do it. It has been one of my favorite video games for quite some time now and I consider it to be one of the best 'interactive' games around. This broke ground for Wii games to be as interactive as they are, in my own opinion at least.
