Good Value and does the job
For a small trimmer works well . I bought it to trim a Russian vine in the corner of the garden where there is not room for a large trimmer. Very good battery life and easy to use. My only two minor problems were that I found it quite hard to get the trimmer to seat in when changing the blades (my friend who borrowed it to trim her grass couldn't manage to change them at all). The other was that it couldn't cope with even thin woody/dead twigs and jammed on any over two mm thickFor a small trimmer works well . Yes it was cheap. So what could I expect for that price? I would expect it to cut. But the quality is utter rubbish!! The main fixed part of the blade is clearly just stamped out,and not machined flat. So when the moving part moved over the fixed blade,there were gaps Between the two of about 0.5mm. When cutting grass it was basically chewed through. It rattled like a bag of spanners. I took of the plate covering a few white plastic cogs. There was no oil or grease to lubricate the cogs. I greased the cogs. it was instantly faster and quieter. And probably prolonged the life of the piece of rubbish. So don'y buythis so called hedge trimmer. Spend more money if you want anything with quality.Yes it was cheap. So what could I expect for that price? I would expect it to cut. But the quality is utter rubbish!!
