The item was as described, was a good price and arrived when promised. The only minor issue was that the packaging didn’t protect the can particularly well and it arrived with a dent at the top which had slightly dislodged the lid. Luckily it wasn’t so bad as to cause a spillage. The lid had started to lift a little but I was able to push it back into place and properly re-seal the lid. So no harm done. Perhaps the seller should re-consider their packing methods?

    Great finish but needs 2 coats

    This paint is a bit thin so a single coat as recommended isn't sufficient. However, 2 coats gives great coverage and a good sheen to the finish without being glossy. You need to stir it regularly as it seems to settle out fairly quickly but it's worth it for the finish. I would never expect this sort of paint to be good after a single coat so I have no hesitation in recommending it.

    Shiny cylinder black

    It is probably just a little too glossy to be considered "Satin Finish" in my opinion, it is certainly more glossy than cylinder black I have used in the past. I haven't seen how it performs on a working engine yet but it goes on well.

    Satin finish - just the job!

    Did the job fine, painting over my Mountfield SP550 lawnmower engine. The Satin finish is much better than the spray Matt. It's having it's winter service right now, so will start it up next week and hopefully paint applied will stick and perform as expected on hot surfaces. Plenty left in the can for future touch-ups.
