They confirmed that I had ordered the wrong part and identified the correct component. Sadly my part was out of stock and so the order was cancelled. I was offered a refurbishment service where the valve would be repaired on the day of receipt however the transit time was to great. The part number did match in my boiler ‘s service manual but was for one of the smaller options of the same boiler. A few measurements or photos with a tape measure could have helped me avoid the confusion.
