The Western Digital WD5003ABYX is quite simply the best hard drive i've ever used! It's huge 64mb buffer means it's ideal as a platform for any Operating System. Over the years, i've tried and tested many different brands and models and this blows all the others away! Mine is currently installed in a system with multiple other hard drives (6 others to be exact) and this dirve has Windows 7 64-bit installed on it. Who needs a drive larger than 500gb for their Operating System and programs....., probably no one. Short of an SSD (Solid State Disc)..., this is probably as good as you'll get! They're built for 24/7 useage, which means rock-solid, reliable performance. Hard disk works in perfect way. I use it at least 15 hours per day. I didn't have problem until now.
