      Down but not out in the land of the free

      Bukowski writes his life as it happens to him. And along the way he shares his thoughts on the people he meets and the society around him. This collection of stories and essays is not for the faint hearted or squeamish, it's brutal, honest and life in the land of opportunity observed from the wrong side of the tracks
