You get to relive the web-slinging action from the box office hit movie Spider-Man 2 and take on the heinous Doctor Octopus in this Treyarch Studios Activision game while you play as Peter Parker’s famous alter ego. Even if you’ve never seen the film, you can enjoy sliding into the story of Peter Parker in this game, who, after being bitten by a radioactive spider, became the amazing Spider-Man. Fans of the movie will notice that this ultimate GameCube version of Spider-Man 2 lets you enjoy the real voices of the movie’s characters, like Tobey Maguire cracking jokes as Spider-Man, plus Kirsten Dunst as MJ and Alfred Molina as Doc Ock. You get to swing, leap, and run through a living metropolis, complete with traffic and pedestrians who also chat and crack jokes while finding plenty of upgrades and crime to fight. This action-adventure Spider-Man game is a one-player version, and it has a rating of “T” for teen due to depictions of some violence. You can challenge friends and family members to a competition by taking turns, or set up a second console to play your own version at the same time. Slip these games into your Nintendo GameCube consoles and follow the story missions, or explore the city to stop minor villains like Mysterio. You get to enjoy flexing Spider-Man’s range of super powers, including mega jumps and super fast web-crawling to increase your hero rating and unlock advanced abilities, moves, and codes for cheats. Some of your old favorite characters, such as the sinister Mysterio and the mad, evil scientist Lizard, make an appearance in this version of the Spider-Man 2 game for GameCube alongside the main villain from the videos and games. Some graphics from the first episode of this game also appear from time to time, tying the storyline and theme of the games together for players who like to swing through the city with a sense of familiarity from game to game. As you play, you earn hero points that you can use to increase your character’s jumping, speeding, and web-slinging abilities. You can also slow down the speed of the action when your Spidey senses start tingling, letting you take advantage of heightened reflexes and senses. Be sure to write down the codes you receive as cheats while you’re playing these games so you can pick up play later with the upgrades you’ve already earned.

    Wonderful Spider-Man game with solid controls and fluid progression

    Very fun game. Came with a good amount of scratches, but it runs perfectly. Overall great experience, would recommend if you're a fan of retro-games, and the wall-crawler. And definitely if you're looking for a good Spider-Man game. Pizza Time!

    The Movie and More Crammed Into One Disc!

    Most movie based games tend to be, well, pretty bad. The Spider-Man games proved that a great game can come from a movie. Let's just run through the simplicities... Sound: Sound is good, there's some decent music playing and the voice acting is done by the actors in the movie. Sound effects are standards, considering there's not much needed. Graphics: The graphics are very good, especially the lookg of the city and buildings. Controls: Controls would have a difficulty of about medium. There are always many controls for Spider-Man games, just because he has a lot of moves. The great thing is that these games have a tutorial to teach you how to use your powers. Length: This game is definitely worth the money you spend on it and now that it's really affordable, it's MORE than worth your hard ...

    One of the best super hero games of it's generation

    I love spider-man and this is honestly one of the best spider-man games out there. The swinging feels great and gameplay is fun. It's a surprisingly spectacular game considering it is a movie tie in.

    VERY TALL BUILDINGS, good graphics, cheesy cars!!!!!!!

    I like this game because you can explore more then the movie. You can also climb the statue of liberty and jump off the empire state building! I don't like it because on the game once you hit the water you die! I mean who in the right mind would really think that a super hero like spider man dose not even know how to SWIM!but it is still a little fun to go flying because you just got hit by the train.I got this game because I know what the movie is like so I did.my favorite part of the game is probably how you get to fling the bad guy in a circle,up into the air or just plainly fling them down,left,right,forward or backward. I hope I have helped you with what you were looking for.
