    Don't Be Confused

    This watch is a nice add on but wasnt exactly what I thought it was. You will not be 100% phone free meaning unless you use the standard apps for texting etc. You will have to all use your phone. The watch dosnt really allow you to iniate much besides a call or text msg. Haven't been able to view my pictures on the device yet, and I've had it two weeks. Of you need a step tracker, heart rate monitor, and the option to make voice texts then this is nice. I describe it as the perfect "gift watch" but I need the next model for what I expected this watch to do.

    No Speaker

    Watch looks nice, is very light, and the voice recognition works good. Problem though is that Samsung's specs for this watch shows it has a mic and speaker. The docs that came with the unit only shows a mic, so this unit must be a scaled down version of the actual model without a speaker, hence the $79.95 price. When a phone call comes in, you can answer from the watch, but can't talk to the or hear the caller, it opens the call on the phone; which kind of defeats the purpose of answering the phone from the watch. Every notification that appeared on the screen, example, email, there was a short blurb and indications that there were other emails but in order to see them, I had to swipe over where there was a prompt to open on the phone, which the watch did for me, but that also defeats ...

    Good android wearable

    Pros: Good wearable. Band is easy on/off and stays on well. Clear images. Easy to set up with phone (GS6). Cons: DISCONNECTS FROM PHONE AT ABOUT 20FT! So, you still got to have your phone "in you pocket". Battery lasts about 24hrs. Easy to get out of sync with bluetooth ear piece and phone (I have a GS6). Must yse specific word sequence for voice activated text and calls. Other: I have not tested the waterproof feature.

    Save $250

    You can buy the latest version of the Gear watch or you can enjoy an earlier model that pretty much does the same thing. I do not have a camera on my watch.... What! No camera! I have a camera on my phone and I have a.......camera. Other than that there is the shape of the watch- it is not curved. I check my email, my texts, Facebook etc. "OK Google" wakes up the search feature on the watch. Charging is easy, the band is a breeze to attach, and the watch is a conversation starter. Buy this for a few bucks (new) and then you can request the $400 fancy watch as a gift. Bill

    Nice Android Wear Device

    I previously had the Samsung Gear 2 Neo watch, and used it with my Samsung Note 4 phone. When I decided to switch to a Nexus phone, I decided to go with the Samsung Gear Live, since I liked the Samsung form factor, battery life, etc. I could not have been more surprised to see the difference between the Gear 2 Neo Tizen OS and the Gear Live's Android Wear OS experience. The Android wear experience is so much better, and the voice operations of the Gear Live are really what I expected to see in a smartwatch, but was always disappointed with the Tizen OS of my Gear 2 Neo. For the price, features, etc, I don't think you can really go wrong with this device.
