Upon purchase of our items, vehicle details must be sent to us attached to the payment. Vehicle details required will be the registration number, private registration plates may also require us to need the Vehicle identification number (VIN) If any modifications have been made to the vehicle but not made aware to us at point of order we will not be held responsible.
All converted vehicles including motorhomes are not included in our packages - we can still help but further vehicle details, photos and specialist information will be required - contact us if this applies to your vehicle.
Many vehicles require the vehicle to be coded to activate any additional features the vehicle may have, this requires specialist equipment that may not be readily available without a professional installer or main dealer tools/software. Please contact us if you are unsure of the requirements for your vehicle.
Postage of items ordered and complete vehicle details supplied to us before 2pm will be processed the same day for next day delivery through a tracked courier. We cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control. If the item ordered is unavailable or not in stock or delayed in anyway we will contact the buyer to confirm that the delay is acceptable before we proceed with the order or cancellation if required.
Wiring kits are sold with a nominal 2 year warranty period covering manufacturing defects with effect from point of sale, not fitment. The warranty covers replacement parts only and all faulty parts must be returned for inspection before warranty is offered. Warranty is not offered due to damages from incorrect fitment of tow bar or wiring kit.
Before any warranty claim is considered contact must be made with us to try and resolve the issue.
The following points must also be followed:-
1. ALL wiring kits MUST be installed exactly according to the fitting instructions provided and must use all the parts located in each bag pack. Wavering from this will render the warranty invalid.
2. Before any potential warranty claim is started, Telford Towbars technical support team must be contacted to be given the opportunity to resolve and identify the issue through correct diagnostic/testing procedures.
3. If our wiring kit(s) has/have been modified in any way, as part of the installation or has been re-fitted onto another vehicle the kit is/was not designed for, will rendered the warranty invalid.
Many vehicles require the vehicle to be coded to activate any additional features the vehicle may have, this requires specialist equipment that may not be readily available without a professional installer or main dealer tools/software. Please contact us if you are unsure of the requirements for your vehicle. Failure to get the vehicles software correctly coded is neither a warranty issue or a reason for return.
