Decent replacement
I bought this to replace an existing Pipercross cone filter that had started to gain rips in the foam. I had this in my watchlist for some time before it started ripping as I had seen their price and what people had said about these filters. My car had been off the road for a small period due the bolt on the torque restrictor sheering off and whilst I waited for the parts to arrive I also ordered this. After fitting and the car is back on the road I couldn't detect any difference in audible notes or induction noise which may be because I previously had a cone on there and not the original kit. As for performance it does feel a little bit more "pokey" than the old filter. I was occasionally able to borrow my girlfriends 1.25 MK6 which was my old car so it's nice to go back to my car again ... Installed on my wifes ST Fiesta 150 and only 15000 on the clock,Its not only sounds,"Superb" there is A very noticable increase in both torque and around 15 bhp on A rolling road test. Will never buy anothe Pipercross lol
