This was of particular interest to me as i spent the first 8 years of my life in Maud & would some times sneak in to the cattle auction. To hear his father reciting prices in his auctioneer's voice was mesmerising not like the pathetic auctioneers in Bargain Hunt etc. Although I never actually knew Jack,I feel I had connections through the school & my Great uncle who also worked at the Mart . I now have all his books & will be keeping them Thank you
