PLEASE DO NOT BUY VIA EBAY AND TURN UP FOR COLLECTION WITHOUT ARRANGING AS IF THE PART YOU HAVE BOUGHT IS OFF SITE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COLLECT UNLESS ARRANGE BY ONE OF OUR MEMBERS OF STAFF BEFORE HAND. By accessing this website and/or placing an order with, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions. Title to the goods shall remain with us until paid in full with cleared funds.
Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of Satisfactory Quality unless specified at the time of sale.
The customer is responsible for ordering the correct part when the part number is supplied.
Each part will be checked for condition and tested where appropriate before leaving our premises. We are however reliant upon considerate handling by our courier company.
Parts will carry a minimum guarantee of 7-30 days and only parts shown on your invoice/receipt are covered by the guarantee/warranty.
Warranty is usually effective from the date of delivery.
Any faults that become apparent after fitting must be notified as soon as possible after you become aware of them.
This guarantee is void if any part supplied is used for any purpose not intended by the manufacturer, Improperly maintained, Disassembled or damaged, Overheated, Not properly installed by a qualified mechanic or has been tampered with in any way i.e seal broken, taken apart, etc. Please note all parts supplied, are marked with our company stamp/initials, removal of these marks will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.
No parts may be altered, modified or dismantled in anyway (except for routine service adjustment) without our permission. Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.
We will not be held responsible for incorrect installation, if a third party, arranged and paid for by you, the customer, installed the goods.
If any part proves to be faulty during this period, it may be returned to us for an exchange. If no exchange is available within 48 hours a refund will be given.
In the event that a part is supplied as ordered but the customer had ordered incorrectly, we must be contacted immediately and the part returned to us within 7 days of purchase at the cost of the customer.
All body panels (doors, bonnets, bumpers, boot lids, wings, quarter panels, etc) and glass are NOT INSURED as standard. You may wish to take out ADDITIONAL INSURANCE with us, which will be explained at the time of purchase.
Deposits for both parts and cars are non-refundable. This is to give us security over the outlay of work required to remove parts or prepare cars. This is non-negotiable.
Delivery
The delivery on all orders is typically Next Working Day. Order must be placed before 1 pm to give the best chance of dispatching the same day. Although every effort will be made to achieve this, certain parts that are not easily removable or already on the shelf may be sent the next working day instead.
We always aim to dispatch items quoted as being Next Working Day delivery on the day payment is processed, subject to the order being placed before our deadline. We cannot, however, be held responsible for goods not delivered on this basis by a 3rd party courier.
Delivery is a separate contract and once completed is non-refundable.
All goods should be inspected thoroughly upon delivery before signing to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit. Refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit.
The words unexamined or unchecked on the delivery note/docket are not acceptable. We will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for in good order.
Parts sold as damaged/spares or repairs are sold as seen unless otherwise specified. Parts sold in this manner are exempt from return for a refund due to their nature.
If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign, refuse delivery & contact us before 4 pm on the day of delivery. This is to ensure that if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company. If we do not notify the courier company on the same day, there is no chance of processing a claim.
In the event that the delivery driver does not allow time to inspect the goods sign the Delivery Note to obtain them, but delete any wording in the signature box to the effect that the goods were Received in good condition .
You must notify us about the loss, damage or delay within 24 hours after delivery of the shipment or the day the shipment should have been delivered in order for us to make a claim with the courier.
Returns & Refunds
Goods once signed for are to be returned at the Customers expense.
Refunds will only be made upon the return of the goods to our premises.
Refunds may take up to 5 days to appear on your statement from the date on which they were actioned. The method of refund will typically be the same as that used to pay (credit card payments cannot normally be refunded via cheque or cash for example).
Each part will be checked for condition and tested where appropriate, upon return.
Items sold as Damaged or Spare or Repairs are sold non-refundable.
Parts returned without fault will be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%.
For all items to be returned under any circumstances, it is the customers responsibility to keep them in a safe environment & return them in as near to the same condition in which they were supplied as possible.
Engines, Gearboxes & Drivetrains
Engines that knock excessively or develop excess blow-by or excessive oil consumption within 0-28 days after the date of purchase will be repaired, replaced or refunded.
Accessories that may come on an engine such as fuel systems, distributors, electronic components, manifolds and water pumps, sumps, etc., are NOT WARRANTED. Timing chains, timing belts and damage due to their failure are not covered.
All engines supplied by JST USED MOTOR SPARES, in order to get warranty will need to have either the timing belt or timing chain replaced prior to installation. Failure to change the timing belt or timing chain will result in warranty been void.
Gasket and seals need to be replaced before installation. We do not guarantee oil leaks. External gaskets and seals are not warranted. They need to be inspected and replaced if necessary before installation. If the engine is overheated, the warranty is void.
Cylinder Heads are guaranteed not to be cracked or warped when purchased. Cams, valves, and lifters are not guaranteed.
All A/C Compressors must have the A/C system flushed to remove any contaminants and the proper oils and Freon to be used. Also, the A/C system needs a new filter, dryer and orifice tube when installed.
Transaxle and differential are guaranteed to work properly. We recommend gasket and seals to be replaced before installation. We do not guarantee against oil leaks.
Engine, transmission, cooling systems, and A/C systems must be flushed to remove contaminants
Warranty is voided if the part(s) are not returned to us in the same condition in which they were sold, or do not bear the identifying marks which appear on all Motors in Motion LTD parts.
Customers must state if ancillaries are required. If a request has been made, stating complete engine wanted, this means head, block, and sump, it does not mean with ancillaries as these may be sold separately, any ancillaries left on the engine e.g water pump, cam belt is given free of charge and is not covered by this guarantee.
All engines, gearboxes & drivetrains will be drained of all fluids for carriage. It is the customers responsibility to refill prior to use as any damage incurred as a result of not doing so will again invalidate this warranty.
Engines supplied that are taken apart (removing sump, head etc) will also be void of any warranty from JST USED MOTOR SPARES.
All engines purchased must be filled with new oil upon installation, and maintained & adjusted by a qualified technician. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
Gearboxes & Drivetrains must be filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
Exchange Unit - This means you are paying a lower price in exchange for returning your old existing/corresponding part. A refundable surcharge is taken usually at the point of sale and we reserve the right to withhold the return of the surcharge if the item is not returned like for like . Old units must be returned to us no later than 6 weeks from the date of delivery for the new unit, we reserve the right to refuse any exchanges in excess of this time limit. ** Old engines must be returned in a serviceable condition **
International Orders - If you are ordering from overseas, please be aware that you may be subject to an extra customs charge when receiving your order in your country. Motors in Motion LTD will not be held accountable for this charge and it is, therefore, your responsibility to pay whatever extra charges you may incur through importing.
Vehicles
All Vehicles are sold “AS IS WHERE IS”. “AS IS WHERE IS” are sold without express or implied warranty. Including without limitation any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or satisfactory quality. We expressly disclaim the accuracy or completeness of any and/or all information provided to you regarding the vehicles whether provided in writing, verbal or digital image form. Information is provided for convenience only.
You agree that you will not rely on Vehicle Information in deciding whether to purchase or how much to Offer/Bid on any Vehicle. Vehicle Information includes but without limitation: make, model, year, condition, damage type, damage amount, driveability, accessories, odometer readings, mileage, vehicle identification numbers, title, repair cost, repair history, repairs needed, title history, service history, and total loss history. We expressly disclaim any and all representations (whether written or verbal) warranties and guarantees regarding the Vehicles we offer for sale.
The Vehicles we offer for sale may be missing parts or components. We do not guarantee that vehicles will meet or that they can be modified to meet the local emission or safety requirements or that the vehicles are able to be or permitted to be repaired. In the case of hybrid electric or electric vehicles we make no representation or offer any warranty that the batteries are included (or the right to use the batteries) within the sale. You may not acquire ownership or the right to use relevant battery packs and you should satisfy yourself of this prior to purchasing.
It is your responsibility to Confirm, Research, Acertain, Inpect & Investigate to your satisfaction the vehicle offered for sale and any information prior to deciding whether to purchase or how much to offer on any vehicle.
You agree that all vehicles are sold AS IS, WHERE IS and are not represented to be in a roadworthy condition, mechanically sound or maintained at any level of quality whatsoever, or are capable of being repaired. Teh vehcile may not be fit for purpose as a means of transportation or for any other purpose and may require substantial repairs at your expense. The vehicle may not be of satisfactory quality, taking into account all considerations including without limitation the price you pay for any vehicle we offer for sale.
You acknowledge and agree that we have excluded our liability in respect of terms that would otherwise have been implied into the Contract of Sale under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 (as amended) and the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended and/or superseded) to the fullest extent permitted by law, including without limitation the terms relating to vehicles complying with their description and/or being fit for a particular purpose.
Given the nature of our business, the nature of the vehicles we offer for sale, and the fact that when purchasing you are a trade member, you acknowledge and agree that it is fair and resonable in all the circumstances for us to rely upon the restrictions, limitations and exclusions of our liability set out. You acknowledge and agree that before you purchase any vehicle it is expressly on the basis that these terms and conditions have been read and understood by you, and you accept that they are fair and reasonable.
