Meat grill weight or is it wait
I've been wanting a grill weight so I can get a better sear on a couple of things I've been cooking. Looking all over for just the right one. Came across this one and thought,(I'm gonna get it). It's pretty good I must say, I think it should have been a little bit heavier though. Would have loved to have one like those you see at the flea market. Old, used, heavier. This one is a great price and I'll use it often. Works great on bacon and porkchops. It's still 5 🌟 to me. Works fine, could be packed better
Works great, was slightly damaged on the wood handle through shipping. The item was too heavy and there wasn't much from stopping the weight of the iron from destroying the packaging. Some sanding fixed the issue though.

Great quality and value!
This meat press is solid cast-iron with a sturdy wooden handle for comfort. Wipe down, but do not submerge in water as with any cash-iron product. Clean and dry the product, then allow to continue to air-dry for best results. It is great for any meat that needs such attention. It is especially great for keeping the bacon from curling! LOL! Love it!

This is a great grill press for our meats AND vegies you don't want curling-up either! We didn't want one with a pig or other critter on ours, and the wood handle allows us to lift press without grabbing a hotpad! A perfect size for our larger and some of our smaller CI pans, and the price was perfect!
