Capcom vs. SNK 2 makes its GameCube debut with an alternate control scheme designed to simplify some of the more complicated moves associated with the PlayStation 2 original. The "EO" in the title stands for Extreme Offense, which results in automatic blocking as well as a character's special and super moves being mapped to the yellow C Stick. Instead of tapping multiple buttons while manipulating the Control Pad in various positions, players simply flick the analog stick in a single motion to perform the most powerful attacks in the game. <br><br>Veteran users can opt for a traditional control method in the six modes of play: Arcade, Versus, Survival, Training, and Color Edit. Players can further customize the fighting by choosing one of six grooves, which enable such actions as performing unlimited super combos when a character's vitality is near zero. Over 40 fighters from both Capcom and SNK's previous fighting games are available to play as or against, with selections from such noted franchises as Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Samurai Shodown, and Fatal Fury.

Capcom vs.SNK 2: EO (GameCube)
This is a great game which includes 46 characters from Capcom and SNK together. This E.O. mode for GameCube version allows you to deliver combos and special attacks with the C stick depending in which direction you move it and which fighting style you are using or you can just play manually. You can customize your character's fighting style,character's color as well as health and attack power. You can choose single player mode or team mode mode which allows you to choose 3 characters to fight through out the game. Personally I also own Capcom vs. SNK PRO for PSOne and SNK vs.Capcom Chaos for PS2 and all are good but none has as many characters as Capcom Vs. SNK 2EO, the only thing that I don't like much is the graphics,the lack some important characters and a Gallery Mode(little details ... Clash of fighters!
Este es un juegazo que reune a las compañias mas importantes en juegos de peleas. La diversidad de grooves y estilos de movimientos de los caracteres hacen un juego muy dinamico. La musica esta bien, bastante ritmica aunque siento que en la version gamecube es un poco alta y opaca las voces y sonidos de los especiales, y no hay manera de bajarla. El numero de jugadores es bueno aunque hubiera deseado una mayor cantidad o que existan personajes mas variados como Rose, Fei Long, Karim, Yashiro, Leona, Andy, Kasumi (en vez de Todo), Blue mary, Donovan, Felicia entre otros. Todavia no me explico la inclusion de Dan (hasta cuando Capcom dejara de incluirlo en todo juego, quitandole lugar a otros personajes mas importantes que el). El otro punto a considerar es la paciencia que se debe tener con la cruceta del control del gamecube, ya que su diseño no es comodo para este tipo de juegos en los cuales abundan movimientos circulares o medio circulares, y el control falla en registrar los movimientos, es un dolor para el pobre pulgar izquierdo. Hay momentos en que realizas especiales y no salen debido a ello. La culpa no es de Capcom ni de SNK, es el control. Aunque trataron de arreglarlo con el modo GC-ISM con el control stick y el c stick, el uso obligatorio de los botones L y R para puños y patadas es malisimo, muchas veces la presion es variante y cuando deseas dar una patada fuerte el caracter hara una debil o media dañando todo un combo. En resumen un buen juego que debio tener una tercera parte que corrija estos problemas pero en sí lo recomiendo muchisimo.

This game is probably one of the best fighters to get for the gamecube/Wii (next to Guilty Gear and Tatsunoko vs Capcom). My only gripe with it is the gamecube controls which take some getting use to. Why do i find it better then Marvel vs Capcom 3? Its a lot more traditional and requires skill to pull off combos. On top of that the game doesn't force you to play and be good with 3 characters simultaneously and isn't a complete 30 hit combo button masher. If your looking for a challenging fighter, this is the game for you. Other recomendations that beat MVC3 IMO: Blaze Blue Continuum Shift Tatsunoko vs Capcom Guilty Gear Accent Core PlusThis game is probably one of the best fighters to get for the gamecube/Wii (next to Guilty Gear and Tatsunoko vs Capcom).
