There's a learn curve in using it.
There's a learning curve in finding the best way to use the Sock Aid. It works and does a better job getting my socks on my feet then I can do unassisted. I'd give it five stars if it worked with ankle height socks and knee high socks the same with less effort. Because knee highs have more fabric, it takes a little struggling to get them from being bunched up on the Sock Aid's lower end all the way up to my knee. I'm sure as time goes on I'll master this appliance and purchase socks with a looser weave and less elastic.There's a learning curve in finding the best way to use the Sock Aid. Unbelievable! This has made such a huge difference in my life. I bought this in anticipation of a hip replacement that will be coming up this fall. Why it never occurred to me to use it now, I'll never know. I use it every single day and its wonderful! It can accommodate any type of sock, and probably knee-high stockings (just haven't tried that yet). Easy to use - no strain/stress on body!Unbelievable! Excellent Product
I had a hip replacement and could not put socks on my affected leg/foot. This product was so easy to use and works like a charm. It can even be used with mild compression sock to get them over the foot. I would recommend this product to anyone having a knee or hip replacement.

After five back surgeries and having spinal fusion from L1 to pelvis it is impossible for me to bend over or even cross my legs to put on socks. This device is a godsend. Suggestion: a little baby or foot powder helps your foot to slide easily through the device. Highly recommended
