These are probably considered vintage scanners in some circles, but having read lots of reviews it was clear to me that for its price range it is probably the best scanner out there. I downloaded a ‘driver’ on free trial but found it didn’t scan at higher than 600dpi, so I found that the Image Capture (already on my Mac) worked perfectly at any dpi. Produces lovely scans, it is a bit noisy but, it’s not the actual scanning but just the general hum while it’s powered up (this could just be my one though). Basically I’m very happy with it, and can now scan large artwork or books, magazines and comics with ease.

Really good accurate scanner, l've only used it up to 400 resolution so far but it is good, and fairly quick to scan. It's a big heavy piece of equipment, and takes up a lot of desk space. Very easy to set up. Note, does not come with a USB cable, which l guess allows you to get the length you need.

It doesn't appear to be a network scanner, you have to plug it directly into a computer. It's old but produces professional quality scans. Fortunately, I had an old cable in my man drawer that was compatible.
