    Interesting Program

    Several friends had told me Call the Midwife was even better than Downton Abbey, so I decided to order the DVDs to see for myself. It's difficult to say which series is the better, but Call the Midwife is certainly entertaining--so much so that I have ordered seasons 3 and 4 in addition to 1 and 2.

    Disc number 1 kept stopping and hesitating during Episode #1.. During Episode #2; in spite of number tries, the Disc simply would not work; no matter how many times I tried to fast forward it or reverse it. A great disappointment

    like family

    The characters in this series are endearing. They are like family in the series and I feel like one of the family. I do like BBC programs, but this is, by far, one of my favorites. It makes me laugh and cry. Each episode is it's own story, but the the story of the "family" is on going.
