I was expecting some flexibility, assuming the item would be silicon rubber, but in fact is very hard material and difficult to stretch enough to fit all sizes of lids and bottle tops. Also stubs on grip are painful when trying to stretch. Not entirely suitable for elderly and infirm. A simple silicon rubber cap is more effective.
