This is not one of her most popular Wimsey stories. It is about railway timetables and alibis which few people seem to appreciate, and compared to her later masterpieces it is certainly rather dry. Still, any detective story by Dorothy L. Sayers is better written than most, so it should be read at least once. And perhaps ypu will come to agree with the great critic Jacques Barzun in "A Catalogue of Crime" who thought it one of her four or five best works.This is not one of her most popular Wimsey stories.
