    I gave this 3 stars (middle) because I think I have to do that to make a review. Also you can ignore the yes & no on design, use, & program. I must report that this remote control did not activate my A/C in any way; no response. That could be because it is not made for my particular Toshiba A/C. The remote that came with my Toshiba, which I bought via Home Depot, did not work; neither did the replacement remote that HD got me. Both remotes worked some & failed to work a lot until now they do nothing. But I also must consider the possibility that the Remote sensor in the A/C itself may be bad. I can't take the A/C back to HD because it was too hard to install in my peculiar setup. So it isn't worth the effort.
