    Cree lighting set

    I bought this lighting set as a cheap, occasional use set. The price was really low so bearing that in mind, you get two headlights, two handlebar brackets and a multi function tail light. It all works well but the headlight clamp was a bit loose around the lamp. I used a piece of old inner tube to pack it out for a really tight fit. All in all, a good buy and at that price not a tragedy if they get pinched!

    Cheap and Cheerful

    Arrived with no instructions and it was not at all clear what the extension tubes were for. Each light takes 3 AAA batteries and 2 more needed for the tail. I deduced the tubes were so one can use 3.7 volt lithium batteries. It so happened I had two of these and sure enough they worked well. Shame there was no information because few would realise this was possible. I now see there is a note about this on the original advert. Doh! The units are cheap and flimsy and cannot be adjusted horizontally. The light output is fair and it's useful to have one beam set high and the other set lower. One of the lights refused to "zoom" and I had to play about with it for a long time before I could free it. I don't often ride at night and these are adequate for me but I would advise something ...

    Bike lights
