Solar watches are nice but don't last. The battery wears out. Tried a Bulova mechanical watch. But the wind didn't last long, six hrs or so. I wound this one up and it lasted over 24hrs. I'm pleased with the movement, quality, and the look of the piece. The miniature second clock instead of a full size second hand is a nice feature.
