Product Information

Pool Paradise transports gamers to a remote tropical island, where they'll take part in a billiards tournament against 30 of the world's best shooters. Boasting more credentials than one might shake a cue stick at, Pool Paradise was developed by European billiards sim specialist Archer Maclean and his Awesome Studios (Archer Maclean's Pool, Jimmy White's Whirlwind, Jimmy White's Cueball series), once again under consultation with real-life snooker champion Jimmy White (who is also featured as a advisor character in this game).<br><br>Would-be sharks can get a feel the action at the beachside Practice Table, or begin their climb up the tournament ladder in the "Competition Hut." As in the producers' earlier efforts, gamers can choose to play under several different rules sets, including both U.S. and U.K. versions of 8-ball and 9-ball. Additional modes and features may be unlocked through skilled play. The realistic billiards action is complemented by fantasy challenges and mini-games, such as the strangely shaped tables found in the "Stunt Hut" area, and an emulation of Maclean's 1994 SNES game Dropzone found at the "Arcade Hut."

I would mark this game as fair condition, but this might be eBay's fault since there are multiple items listed under one posting. However, the picture looks like the game is a faded gold cartridge, but it just an extremely yellowed grey cartridge (a little bit my fault I didn't know Hexen has a grey cartridge I should of looked it up first). The game was still an authentic Nintendo cartridge, and functional!

    This Pool game and it's graphics, sounds, and freedom to choose & ease to play make it probably one of the very best pool games out there, even compared to PS3 & PS4, and I have all three consoles. 5 BIG STARS FOR POOL PARADISE.....

    This sucks!

    Game sucks big time. It wont let you shoot the ball so its useless to even play. Piece of sh*t!

    Fun game, very enjoyable

    It took a couple minutes to get the controls down. But once you figure it out it's a lot of fun! I would recommend it, good value.

    Bring Back To The Pool Hall

    I like this game because it brings me back to the good old days, you can shoot the cue just like the real thing, and you have the option of make your own shots, just like the real pool hall table. and most of all you can bet, and earn money, I'm shock that gamecube has a game just like this.. I don't dislike this game at all..

    Pool Paradise for the Nintendo Gamecube

    I like the premise and the play action seems real enough. It is fun to play. I just started and have played only a few games so far but I'm moving on up the rankings relatively quickly. Nice variety of games. I recommend this game to other pool afficianados.
