A very good product.
I have been using this descaler for a long time now and am very pleased with it. So easy to use, just rinse it out and the pop it back in the kettle. You do need to keep spares so when they too scale up just get a new one.

Good quality but no noticeable effect.
I put one of these in my stainless steel gas kettle and I don't think it's made too much difference to the amount of scale that builds up. The stainless steel mesh does accumulate scale so perhaps it prevents some build up in the kettle but nothing I'd notice. I use a chemical de-scaler which removes most of the scale in the kettle and all the scale on the pad. I've kept this mesh pad in my kettle but I wouldn't bother with another one. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone if they're hoping it'll eliminate kettle scale as it doesn't. It costs very little of course so I suppose it's OK on that score - but not even then if it doesn't have any noticeable effect. A very good Kettle De-scaler
I live in a hard water area, and limescale build-up in my kettles before I bought this kettle de-scaler was really bad. However, since I put this de-scaler in the kettle, there is a noticeable improvement. It keeps the kettle clean, and I can’t taste limescale in my coffee any longer. A ver good quality product.

Does what it says on the tin, so to speak. Only comment would be no info about its life span - it is quite thin compared to ones I had years ago - so not sure how long it will last before ?I need a replacement but for the price it’s ok.
