    Works great but could use a wider range of adjustment.

    We have used 2 of this item before in two prior bathroom remodels. The ability to keep the humidity in the bathroom down without relying on users to turn a fan on and off is awesome. Unfortunately, and why I am giving it 3 stars instead of 4, the range of adjustment is only 50% to 80% humidity. Here on the west coast, the humidity will often run above 50% causing the fan to run when no one is taking a shower. I can envision folks in the southern states having their fan run non-stop during the summer! It is possible to set the fan up to run at a reduced speed/power consumption but you sacrifice the ability to quickly clear the shower when there is actual steam! Still, the automated evacuation of moisture is a real plus and therefore, I would recommend this item to anyone concerned ...

    The condensation sensor is more useful than the motion sensor in my opinion since we don’t need the fan to run every time we walk into the bathroom. It’s more useful for when the moisture from a shower is needing to be removed. The only downside with these exhaust fans from Panasonic is that you can’t easily override these sensors. Sometimes you might want the fan on full blast to exhaust smells or for other reasons. It would be nice if they developed a wall control or something for doing this.

    Makes a Great Fan Even Better

    No more fogged up mirrors when taking a shower. This module does exactly as I hoped. It bumps the fan up to its high ventilation rate whenever is senses high humidity in the room and doesn't drop back down until the room dries out. I did have to open it up and turn the threshold up toward the 80%RH maximum to keep the fan from triggering high speed operation too often. I live in a tropical locale, so this is to be expected. Very happy with the product and glad I made the upgrade to the fan. It really is the best ventilation equipment out there.
