This Sony la-ea5 adapter arrived perfectly in its original box, and it was nicely packed. Was hoping it would work with my a9, and it does, but the Minolta AF lenses do not focus with the a9--no one's fault but my own--I had read that it might not work. Will have to sell it and buy an la-ea4.
