    Their first is still their best...

    Don't believe all the hype about "The Blackening", this is REALLY Machine Head's best release! It has the freshness, the speed, the riffs, the melody and the power that can be found on subsequent albums, only here everything is far much better. Songs are more concise, if not exactly short, so you have not time to be bored while listening to "Davidian" "Block" "Nation's on Fire" and "Death Church"... At the time of release of "Burn My Eyes" (1994) I believed it to be better than anything Pantera has ever come up with; for some reason, I still believe it.
