I use a shipping rate for Canada which is the same price no matter which game you buy. The Nintendo DS game that you bought happens to be extremely light.For 95%+ of the games, the shipping price makes sense.However, some games are heavier and some games are lighter than the average - so there is an aspect of fluctuation that I account for. But you're right about the total price, that's what matters, I also currently have "Best Offer" on - so you can always make an offer to get a better price.

Gamecube games are hard to find, especially the good ones that are in good shape; let alone with the manual. That's why I give this product an 11 out of 10!

worth it if you can get it cheap
it worked fine, thats a plus. idk why there has to be 5 von erichs. thats preposterous when you consider all the other potential legends that could have been substituted. the games not real clear as to how all the controls & moves function, for that i suggest opening the create a wrestler area & browsing the existing legends movesets. that way you'll learn the set ups for alot more that way, especially useful for finishers.it worked fine, thats a plus. idk why there has to be 5 von erichs. thats preposterous when you consider all the other potential legends that could have been substituted. the games not real clear as to how all the controls & moves function, for that i suggest opening the create a wrestler area & browsing the existing legends movesets. that way you'll learn the set ups for alot more that way, especially useful for finishers.

Another Game With Wasted Potential
It seems that many wrestling games are out to destroy what we love about wrestling. This title (and it's sequels) are another example of how to hype a great idea for a game and then waste every ounce of potential in a low quality game that even the brain dead would be irate with. So what's good about this game? You get to be the legends of wrestling! Some of the legends can be questioned, but there are many characters that you have never been before in a wrestling game...and that makes it fun. Once you browse over all the characters, the fun quickly ends. For starters, the graphics are terrible and so is the entrance music. Each character looks like they were formed from the same character model - they all have huge bulging muscles (reminds me of Popeye) and they're very cartoony. The ... The background graphics aren't even worth describing... As for the game play, well, there is no story mode to speak of. You basically just pick an area of the country (it's divided much as the wrestling territories of the 70s were) and then fight a sequence of matches to capture the title belt for that area. As for the actual matches, the game controls and schematics are just awful. Trying to execute moves is too painstaking for a wrestling game and for some reason, every guys' move set is comprised of a lot of modern moves and finishers that weren't even invented during their respective eras. I'm not saying that they should all do rest holds, snap mares and body slams....but a lot of them do the tombstone piledrive, for crying out loud! Simply atrocious. What I DO like about the grappling and moves, is that a lot of the moves can be turned into combos. You can slam your opponent, and then quickly follow that with a submission. Or, you can slam your opponent and then quickly turn it into a pin...it's nice to be able to execute a series of moves or pins. However, do execute these, there is a bar that will float atop the screen and you have to push the right button when a line floating along the bar stops in a particular area. The area where you need to stop could be big and it could be microscopic, depending on what you're doing. Well you spend so much time worrying about the bar, that you don't even see what's going on. Again, it's a great idea - play as the stars of yesterday - but it's so poorly done that it makes me want to ban wrestling!

Good on paper.....
This game is not a good wrestling game by any means. The controls are too stiff and it's hard to have fun. The moves are so limited and you end up doing the same moves over and over again. The only thing I really liked was the roster of legends you can choose from. The creation of a wrestler SUCKS. Even though the back of the case so it's the best ever _ Definently one of my least favorite wrestling games. Legends of Wrestling 2 & Showdown are a little better. A good time!
This was a fun game. We played it non stop for like 3 months. The graphics are great and the music is fun. The moves are pretty easy to use. Hogan is the coolest character.
