The "07" edition of EA Sports' annual college basketball game is designed to emphasize the importance home court advantage and crowd interaction. NCAA March Madness 07 features a variety of interactive stadiums where players are affected by and can interact with crowds, school mascots, cheerleaders, and the band. The game introduces the "Team Intensity Control" feature, allowing gamers to change the momentum of the game by pumping up the crowd, motivating teammates, and intimidating the other team. Each player has a unique composure level that is affected different actions, and this feature can ultimately affect the final score of the game. The "Lockdown Stick" makes a return in this edition, allowing players to get aggressive with their defense by promoting a turnover, breaking up the play, or setting a trap.<br> <br>In "Dynasty" mode, players can pick from a variety of teams and attempt to lead their school to a national championship. School Pride takes center stage in the game and players who win games also win the favor of alumni, administration, and students. Pleasing these groups can unlock new facilities, a band, cheerleaders, an upgraded campus, and college-wide respect. As the coach, players can use the handbook created specifically for the selected school or they can create their own. Scouting and recruiting new players is easy with the games "Internet" feature that allows head coaches to look up stats and receive e-mails from training staff, administration, the recruiting office, and the coaching staff. Gamers can also phone a recruit's coach or even watch them play. Once again, there are many teams to follow, as hundreds of real-life schools are featured, allowing gamers to take the reigns of their favorite recurring contenders, or lead a more obscure alma matter to an unprecedented national championship.

I use a shipping rate for Canada which is the same price no matter which game you buy. The Nintendo DS game that you bought happens to be extremely light.For 95%+ of the games, the shipping price makes sense.However, some games are heavier and some games are lighter than the average - so there is an aspect of fluctuation that I account for. But you're right about the total price, that's what matters, I also currently have "Best Offer" on - so you can always make an offer to get a better price.

Excellent Change From 2K College Hoops
I've been a big fan of the 2K College Hoops series and always wondered if the March Madness series improved. Well, that's a big understatement! They both have a different feel which is awesome. This game will totally immerse you in it. I look forward to trying all the modes! Just playing Exhibition games have been a blast. I may look to get '09 too! So both series are great and if you're a diehard NCAA hoops fan, you can't go wrong here.I've been a big fan of the 2K College Hoops series and always wondered if the March Madness series improved. One of My Favs
As a big dynasty guy I love this version. MM08 and MM09 each had flaws I did not liek about it that MM07 doesn not have. In MM08 you can't do as much with create a player which I love to create a 99 superstar and throw him on awful teams to see what he can do with them. In 07 you can do it and in 08 you can only add a set more amount of points to a generic setup depending on the position. They bring it back in 09 but my main dislike in 09 is the dynasty mode. The new calendar/schedule is incovenient. Instead of showing a big team picture and "Next game against so and so" and the team's record it's a ticket stub and you can barely see the icon of the team you are playing against. So you barely get an idea of who you're palying and you have to leave the calendar ... As a big dynasty guy I love this version. Not the biggest deal but after doing 30 years of a dynasty and having to do that every game it gets very annoying. March Madness 07 shows the teams picture clearly and shows the title and shows their record. Recruiting is overall solid in the game and uses the pipeline system very well to help recruiting if your a smaller school and rewards you for staying close to home with recruits. Game play is still very good and it has the impact moments which i don't remember being there in 08/09 maybe in 08. All in all i still like 07 much better then 08/09 and I hope that in MM10 they continue to make the gameplay on the court even better and more realistic than before but htey keep the dynasty mode simple and user friendly. One cool feature that they should do is a superstar mode like they do in NCAA football games.

Well NCAA 07 March Madness is what you'll be expecting for all you NBA LIVE Fans. The graphics are normal to those of a 07' sports game and gameplay very similar to that of NBA LIVE 07. Includes all tourney brackets and an in depth scouting feature which is great for the college fan. Well worth it plus you can get your hands on it for $10 or less. All around great deal!

Best NCAA basketball game for 2007 for Xbox 360
You can recruit real highschool players in this game. All the highschool players names, stats, hometowns, etc. make this game so cool. Dicky V sounds just like the real thing. And the courts are beautiful. Too bad the college players can't have real names, but they do have the actual numbers and the actual look. For example, Florida Gators SF is #2 with a head band that looks just like Corey Brewer. They did not get Joakim Noah fro though.
