Trivial Pursuit plays in high definition. The 2009 video game edition of the 1980s' board game sensation features new categories and new questions, with the same basic wedge-winning, ask-and-answer style of play that's defined Trivial Pursuit through the years. Players roll dice to move around a wagon-wheel shaped board, landing on differently colored tiles that represent different question categories. If a player can correctly answer a randomly drawn trivia question from the landing color's category, he can move again. Correctly answering questions on special tiles earns players a wedge-shaped tokens; one of each color is available. When a player has collected one wedge of each of the six category colors, moving to the hub of the wheel and answering a final question will win the game. The questions in Electronic Art's console game edition may be as tough as ever, but multiple-choice answers give guessers a better chance to get lucky from time to time. Other console game features engage players even when it's not their turn, such as the chance to earn extra points by guessing whether an opponent will answer a question correctly. Points can be used to gain wedges, leading to new strategies and head-to-head mini-game trivia battles between players. Profile functions track players' records and other information, such as their best and worst categories.

I use a shipping rate for Canada which is the same price no matter which game you buy. The Nintendo DS game that you bought happens to be extremely light.For 95%+ of the games, the shipping price makes sense.However, some games are heavier and some games are lighter than the average - so there is an aspect of fluctuation that I account for. But you're right about the total price, that's what matters, I also currently have "Best Offer" on - so you can always make an offer to get a better price.

Trivial pursuit is a game that is fun to play with the whole family. In past versions of trivial pursuit that I have played the voice would tell you information about the answer to the question. Unfortunately in this game the voice mainly just makes really annoying remarks that get frustrating after hearing them said a million times. Fortunately, in the audio settings you can disable the voices altogether by reducing the voice volume to zero. Also, the laughing sounds are slightly annoying at times. These sounds cannot be disabled. Although the game is called trivial pursuit, the questions should be at least reasonable knowledge that someone could be expected to have. For the most part this seems true, but out of five people that I play the game with the Arts & Literature questions ... Trivial pursuit is a game that is fun to play with the whole family. These questions should be relegated to the entertainment section in my opinion. Fortunately this add-on is optional. Overall it is a good game with a few annoyances.

Get this if you want to test your personal knowledge for your own analysis
This Trivial Pursuit edition of the PS3 is a far cry from quality of the original board game. It is a fun single player game if you are bored and you just want to test your own personal knowledge. But gameplay is not as fun as traditional multi-player board game.

Great Fun Family Game
This is a fun but also very educational game that can be played by young and old alike. It is great to play with your wife (partner), or the two of you could team up against another couple. Great for parties. The graphics are real fun too.
