Review of Creoseal Dark Brown 25Ltr
Consistencey is good and coverage on untreated wood is as expected. Product advertised as Dark Brown and this is accurate. However, for some it may be just too dark... not for me though and i was well pleased with the product. Some points to be aware of - be sure to wear gloves and a mask and safety glasses. The product is oil-based and tends to be a bit 'whiffy'. When it has fully dried, this will pass.Consistencey is good and coverage on untreated wood is as expected. Messy product.
This product was sprayed onto decking and is very waterproof but it has not soaked in and has not dried out, leaving a thick film of oil behind which makes the decking unusable. A few days after applying creoseal we had torrential rain and the product splashed up off the decking onto a painted gate and fence which now looks a mess. Recently purchased and applied to my fence.spreads really well but seems to leave a solid finish. Last picture is pre creosote Other pictures are of one coat of creosote. 10litres to do one coat of 220ft of bare fencing panels Hope this helps

It covers very well indeed but the drying quality is appalling. Since putting it on our shed about a week and a half ago, in nice sunny weather it is still wet in places. Every time you open the door to the shed you get black hands, the weather has been excellent so it should’ve dried quickly, massive drawback for the product.

More like engine oil.
After shaking and turning the barrel to make sure it was well mixed, proceeded to paint the fence panels and posts around our Garden. Five weeks later and it is still wet despite all of the hot weather which normally accelerates the drying time. Neighbour is convinced that the fence has been painted with engine oil and I tend to agree with him.
