The Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is the fourth installment of Fatal Frame series, released for Wii platform. This single-player Horror video game fills those lonesome gaming hours with bone-chilling terror. This Wii game follows an interestingly mysterious story line. Five young girls - Marie Shinomiya, Tomoe Nanamura, Misaki Asou, Ruka Minazuki and Madoka Tsukimori, gets kidnapped by a criminal - You Haibara. They are taken to Rougetsu Island. However, Choushiro Kirishima, an intellectual detective, rescues them. As time passes, two of these girls die mysteriously, and three of them revisit the island. They are now stunned to see the detective to pursue Haibara again and Ruka running for help! "Memory", "moon", and "mask," are the key elements of the game. The yellow image color of the game and the use of the Wiimote together give it a horror effect. Unravel the mystery behind this interesting story of this Horror video game. • Fatal Frame 4 is a respectable and worthy addition to the series.

The game is a great evolution on the PS2 formula of Fatal Frame. The atmosphere is foreboding and scary, and the graphics are a good balance, only noticing some slow down when an area is loading during a new room's entry. The controls are, however, harder to figure out, with an odd control scheme of nunchuck for left and right movement, and wiimote movement for up and down movement. The story's compelling! Very unsettling to see the tragic story of these girls unfold as their twisted past becomes unravelled for the player.
