    Here we have a very enjoyable and creepy little tale entitled THE SKULL. It was originally released in 1965 by Amicus Productions which was the counterpart to HAMMER HORROR at that time. The film stars PETER CUSHING, CHRISTOPHER LEE, PATRICK WYMARK, JILL BENNENT, APRIL OLRICH and NIGEL GREEN. The plot centers around the skull of the Marquis de Sade which has been taken from the grave, bringing terror to those who own it. CUSHING and LEE give their usual solid performances and equally impressive is PATRICK WYMARK, who as Marco, supplies both men with occult goods from very mysterious sources. If you happen to be a collector like myself, then you most likely will prefer the video box art over that of the DVD art. And, if your in the mood for a good fright...then sit back, put up your feet, ...
