I do not have a local Surly dealer, so was excited (and scared) to order online. My bike was obviously packed at a shop with care, and common sense. In my experience Surly’s boxes suck [the handles always break], but my (ICT) arrived pristine and ready to float over obstacles and small children after being packed with original packaging and pool floaties. Rotor was packed with care separately. After messaging I couldnt be happier; I got a bike I wanted online and feel like I supported a shop!
