Introduced in 1979, the Olympus OM-10 is a 35 mm SLR film camera crafted with precision and mechanical accuracy. This Olympus film camera body is compatible with Zuiko lenses and supports 24x36 mm format film. Furthermore, the Olympus OM-10 consists of an electronically controlled cloth focal plane shutter that allows light to pass from 1/000th to 1 second. With a pentaprism type viewfinder, this 35 mm SLR film camera allows you to see the exact image that will be projected onto the film. The small size and stylish design of this Olympus film camera body make it one of the more popular cameras in its class.

    A Challenge!

    I have purchased this classic camera, a copy of my first serious camera I bought in the late 70s. Having converted enthusiastically to digital cameras long time ago I gave into nostalgia out of curiosity. What a shock. The image quality is extremely high, but it also highlighted how lazy I had become. I have got used to shooting a sequence of photos, selecting the best and deleting the ‘rubbish’. Not an option in the ‘olden days’. You had to carefully consider composition and exposure etc before pressing the button, waiting until the film was fully exposed, waiting for it to be developed and printed before discovering if you had succeeded. I am hoping that I shall regain more discipline in terms of consciously being critical of composition etc. Having said that I do find it to be more ...
