    Good value but a lot of hiss

    I've now tested this unit with 2 speakers, one a QTX speaker and the other a non-QTX active speaker. Both were workable but in both cases there was significantly more background hiss than with the inbuilt QTX that I was using this in conjunction with. Microphones are a nice shape and the slightly rubberised texture is pleasant to hold.

    I've used QTX before and the sound is great. Unfortunately, there seems to be an inherent problem with the Power supply transformers.

    I've had two sets of QTX microphones and both have worked OK initially. After using them for around an hour I put them away for use 7 days later. Incredibly, on two occasions the power light fails to illuminate, which I've now confirmed as being faulty power supply transformers. The first supplier (eTwist) eventually credited me after losing my return whilst on their nominated transport. The second supplier, Delightful-UK, were very co-operative and urgently sent me a replacement transformer. This worked for an hour but when I turned the unit on again it failed to power up. Same problem THREE TIMES. QTX have a serious quality problem with their power supply transformers. Mick Carroll.

    Chinese copies

    Can not the contact and the reaction of delivery......but I came to use them and they wasn't worth £5......they was very light in handling and very very tinny in performance...even to higher the levels on my amp they sounded worse for ware....really disappointed
